Hike, paddle or cycle select trails in the biosphere reserve between September 28-October 12, 2019.

The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network is organizing a FAB Trails Festival to encourage and inspire community residents and visitors to appreciate the wealth of biodiversity as experienced through the trails of this area and to increase awareness of this region UNESCO designation!

The Trails Festival is a fundraising event for the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network, a not-for-profit organization. Opening ceremonies will take place on September 28, 2019 at Charleston Lake Provincial Park-group camping site (parking fees will apply). We will have a guest speaker to connect us to the land and water and to increase participant awareness for how to act responsibly and still enjoy the natural world while on the trails. Vendors, information booths and demonstrations will be available to participants and the general public.

This will be followed by two weeks of self-directed hiking, paddling, or cycling pre-selected trails in the biosphere.
~Trails are coming soon~

The festival and activities are free for all.
