Update - Friday, August 10, 2018 - Gilmour Point Beach is closed due to suspected blue-green algae. The beach will re-open once we receive confirmation from Public Health that the adverse event has been resolved. More information on blue-green algae is available here

The 2018 Swim and Camp Registration is now available online from our website and in-person at the Keeley Road Offices.  For first time users, follow this step-by-step guide for online registration. 

The 2018 Swim and Day Camp season starts July 3, 2018. Program registration will open in May. View the "Parents Handbook"

DAY CAMP

Offered at The Point and Gilmour Beach

Session One (1): July 3 to July 13, 2018 (no program on July 2 - Civic Holiday)

Session Two (2): July 16 to July 27, 2018

Session Three (3): July 30 to August 10, 2018 (no program on August 6- Civic Holiday)

Session Four (4): August 13 to August 24, 2018

Cost : $240.00/Session ($216.00/Session 1 & 3)

Fees are based on 8 hour days - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for earlier drop off times and later pick up times, check with the Site Coordinator. An additional $5.00 for every 15 minutes will be charged for anytime beyond the 8 hours.

SWIM LESSONS

Offered at McMullen Beach, The Point and Gilmour Point.

Level One - 11:30 am to 12:00 pm

Level Two - 11:00 am to 11:30 am

Level Three - 10:30 am to 11:00 am

Level Four - 10:00 am to 10:30 am

Levels Five and Six - 9:45 am to 10:30 am

Levels Seven/Eight/Nine/Ten - 9:00 am to 9:45 am

Cost: $53.00 for two week session

Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion Courses - 7:00 am to 9:00 am - Only offered at The Point.

Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion - $120.00 (does not include manual)

Swim lessons at McMullen Beach may be cancelled or relocated to The Point if enrollment is low. Please contact the Camp Coordinator for more information.

The Healthy Kid's Park Drop-In Program

The Healthy Kid’s Park Drop-In program provides free fun recreational activities for kid’s age 4-12. Participants will get to join in structured and unstructured activities, sports and crafts. Programs run daily 1-3pm from July 3 to August 24th at different Township parks. Registration is mandatory in advance through our registration page or at the park site. Caregivers with a child younger than the age of 7 must stay for the entire duration of the activity or the entire duration of their participant’s stay in the activity.

This summer we plan to visit these parks on the following days:

McMullen Beach (Verona): Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Gerald Ball Memorial Park (Sunbury): Tuesdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Centennial Park (Harrowsmith): Thursdays & Fridays, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Water Sampling at Township Beaches

Results of Water sampling of beaches in South Frontenac are conducted by Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Health Unit.
