The Township of South Frontenac is recruiting a senior level Manager of Development Services to help liaise with stakeholders and drive responsible growth. Located just north of the City of Kingston, this large rural Township, with diverse hamlets nestled among many lakes, continues to experience growth and development pressure. 

This full-time permanent position provides leadership and management to the integrated development services group which includes the Planning and Building Departments as well as contracted, By Law Enforcement Services and Economic Development initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and as part of the senior leadership team, the incumbent will also help to shape the future strategic and operational direction of the Township. 

Our ideal candidate brings extensive senior management experience and a proven track record of coordinating services across an organization with an emphasis on driving excellence in customer service. A Masters in Planning is ideal and membership in or eligibility for full membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners with designation as a Registered Professional Planner is mandatory. An in-depth knowledge of Municipal Planning and Building procedures and principles, by laws and related legislation and regulations is required.

The salary range for this position has been established at $88,462 - $105,352, in conjunction with a comprehensive benefits package including OMERS.  For a complete job description please click here.
