Hinchinbrooke Road Now Open to Two-Way Traffic

Following the partial closure of Hinchinbrooke Rd back in July, South Frontenac staff have been working in conjunction with a geotechnical engineer to safely reopen the road before winter. While addition culvert work will take place in the spring, Hinchinbrooke Rd will reopen to two-way traffic effective October 29, 2021 at Noon.

At the October 19, 2021, Council meeting, the office held by former Councillor Pat Barr was declared vacant.
As such, Council is seeking applicants who are interested in filling this vacancy for the remainder of this Council term ending in October 2022.

Hinchinbrooke Road Partial Reopening Anticipated for End of OctoberThis past July, Hinchinbrooke Road was closed just North of Silver Rock Lane at Spring Lake due to a partial road collapse.
