Due to the storm that will hit our region overnight tonight and tomorrow, please note the following cancellations and changes in service:
- The Household Hazardous Waste Depot will be closed Thursday, February 23
- The Recreation and Leisure Services Advisory Committee meeting is cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date
- Garbage and recycling pick-up will proceed, however we are asking all residents to only put out their garbage and recycling on Thursday if absolutely necessary. If you must put your waste out, please do not place it roadside where it may be hit by plows—place it at the end of your driveway. Collectors will be checking driveways for items.
The following events are still on:
- Police Services Board meeting
- Storrington Centre Grand Reopening, 12 noon, 3910 Battersea Road
