KFL&A

For immediate release

Kingston – Getting fully vaccinated is the most important thing KFL&A residents can do to prevent future waves of COVID-19. While case rates are stable in the region, building community immunity is essential to avoid an increase in cases as we move into Step 3 and resume indoor activities and gathering in larger groups. To protect our community, as many residents as possible must get fully vaccinated against the virus.

Book or move up your appointment as soon as possible
If you have not received both doses of COVID-19 vaccine, do not delay. With this large supply of vaccine there are over 16,000 open clinic appointments available for individuals 12 years of age and older. To support this vaccine push, there are more clinic options including evening clinic hours, walk-in (without an appointment) hours, and easier booking through the agency’s website using local applications for each clinic site. Getting fully vaccinated will help you get back to the people, places, and things you love – sooner and safely.

  • Book your first or second vaccine appointment by visiting KFL&A Public Health’s website or call the booking centre at 343-477-0172.

Get your second dose as soon as possible!

We are entering the home stretch with many of the mass vaccine clinics set to begin closing on August 2, 2021. If you already have an existing appointment date set for your second dose, please reschedule your second dose appointment (28 days after your first dose) to get fully vaccinated as soon as possible.
