Due to the recent release of the KFL&A (Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington) Public Health of their Radon Testing Study where Radon was found to be above WHO guideline levels in 52% of tested structures and 21% of these structures were above the Canada Health guidelines.
South Frontenac Township is proactively addressing radon gas in new low-rise residential dwellings through its Soil Gas Mitigation Program.
