Fish Creek Bridge Update: November 21, 2025

Work at the Fish Creek Bridge has progressed further this week with the completion of the rebar and forming for the two main footings that will support the new pre-cast bridge structure. Thomas Fuller Construction’s advanced the pours of the concrete to complete both footings today and favourable weather lies ahead for the curing process. Works will continue next week on preparation grading activities relating to the installation of the wing walls while concrete continues to cure.

Road closure updates have been issued through the Municipal 511 system to all emergency service providers along with school transportation providers. The bridge construction project will continue through to end of December when the bridge is forecast to be re-open for use on a gravel surface.
