Remembrance Day Celebrations in South Frontenac

A message from Mayor Ron Vandewal

On Remembrance Day, we must take the time, at a memorial or privately, to honour the extraordinary contributions of the men and women who sacrificed their lives to protect Canada’s freedoms and values. We commend our veterans and members of the Canadian Armed Forces for their bravery, commitment and deep sense of duty.

Our municipal offices will be closed to the public on Tuesday, November 11 for two hours from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm to provide Township employees with the opportunity to attend a Remembrance Day Ceremony. Details on services in the Township appear below.

In this time of remembrance, we come together in gratitude and thanks for the sacrifices they made and continue to make for us. We remember them and pledge that the values they fought for will live on for generations to come.

Lest we forget,

Mayor Ron Vandewal
