Canada Day Fireworks Rescheduled

South Frontenac Township's Canada Day fireworks have been rescheduled for Friday, July 31, 2026, at The Point Park in Sydenham. 

Make an evening of it by arriving early for our Fireworks Pre-Show Party from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Enjoy free family-friendly activities including face painting, inflatables, yard games, and a variety of food trucks before settling in for the fireworks. 

The spectacular fireworks display will begin at 9:15 pm, providing the perfect way to kick off the August long weekend. 

Shuttles departing at 8:00 pm: Fermoy Hall, Wilmer Ball Park, Battersea Ball Park.  

Shuttles departing at 8:15 pm: Glendower Hall, Verona Free Methodist Church, Verona K&P Trailhead, Centennial Park, Harris Park Hall, Gerald Ball Park, Storrington Centre.  

Please arrive at your shuttle stop at least 10 minutes before departure.

Safety Reminder: Please leave pets at home, respect all boating safety zones and temporary water restrictions on Sydenham Lake, and note that a portion of the Cataraqui Trail near The Point Park will be closed before, during, and after the fireworks. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
