Fire Master Plan Available for Review

Council will consider the 2026 South Frontenac Township Fire Master Plan at the scheduled August 11, 2026, council meeting.

The 200+ page document, prepared by Loomex Group Ltd., was created to:

• Identify and evaluate the current and anticipated fire protection needs in South Frontenac.
• Assess the fire protection services that South Frontenac currently receives.
• Provide strategies and identify resources that South Frontenac can use to manage its current and anticipated fire protection needs adequately and cost-effectively. 

The Plan provides recommendations to be reviewed and prioritized by the Fire Chief to be brought forward for future consideration to Council.
