Fish Creek Update: November 17, 2025

Update on Fish Creek Bridge: Despite some setbacks on the construction of the site protection and de-watering system, the Fish Creek Bridge structure is taking shape. The levelling slabs were poured on Monday, November 10 and will form the base of the new bridge foundation.

Bridge crews were on-site last week placing the reinforcing steel for the new keyed footings on the north and south sides of the creek. Pouring of the concrete on the new footings is scheduled for this week. The main structure that makes up the new bridge is made up of pre-cast components that will ultimately be delivered to site. This will mean that the latter phases of construction work will be less impacted by the poor weather.
