Notice of Public Meeting on Bulk Water Rates

The Council of the Township of South Frontenac will host a public meeting at the Township office located at 4432 George Street on June 16, 2026, at 7 pm regarding proposed amendments to By-law 2009-08, being a By-Law Respecting Water Service Charges in South Frontenac. The proposed amendments will include an update of service charges relating to the bulk water filling station at 4252 Stage Coach Road and will seek to update the bulk water rate from $2.25 per cubic meter to $4.00 per cubic meter. The by-law amendments are also intended to come into force and effect on July 15, 2026. This by-law amendment does not affect water services charges relating to residential, commercial, or institutional water users in Sydenham.
