Purpose and Effect of the Application

The applicant is seeking a variance to Section 5.8.2 of the Zoning By-law to reduce the minimum highwater mark setback for a proposed Class 4 sewage system (septic tank and field) from 30 metres (100 ft.) to approximately 19 metres (65 ft.) to permit the construction of a new all-season dwelling on the subject property.
