Purpose and Effect of the Application
The owner proposes to construct a shed beside their existing dwelling. They are seeking a minor variance from section 10.3.2 of the Zoning Bylaw which requires a 30 metre setback from the highwater mark of the lake and a 3 metre setback to the interior side yard lot line for a new shed. The shed is proposed to be 14 metres from the highwater mark of the lake and to be 2.6 metres from the interior side yard lot line.
