Purpose and Effect of the Application:

The applicant is requesting permission under Section 45(2) of the Planning Act to enlarge a legal non-complying building through the construction of a 12-square metre (130 sq. ft.) covered entry porch, as the proposal would result in a further reduction (1.8 metres / 6 ft.) to the existing, legal non-complying front yard setback (7.5 metres / 25 ft.)
