Significant Weather Event Lifted

The Township of South Frontenac is ending the Significant Weather Event, declared on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 239/02, the Minimum Maintenance Standards.

With the declaration lifted, the Township’s winter operations will continue in accordance with the Winter Control Plan. Township of South Frontenac staff will continue to monitor weather from Environment Canada closely and respond as necessary to ensure municipal roads remain safe and accessible. 

The Township extends its sincere appreciation to the road’s crews of the Public Services Department for their dedication and hard work throughout the Significant Weather Event. Their diligent work ensured the safety of our community.
