The Lakes and Trails Festival is Back!

South Frontenac is thrilled to announce that the infamous Lakes and Trails Festival will be back on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at McMullen Park in Verona, ON.  
 
Join us from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for this free, family-friendly celebration of the outdoors and the natural beauty of our region. The festival encourages residents and visitors of all ages to get outside, get active, and connect with nature through a variety of recreational and educational experiences. 
 
“The Lakes and Trails Festival is a favourite event among many South Frontenac residents,” says Amanda Pantrey, Recreation and Events Coordinator. “The event promotes a healthy, active lifestyle and showcases several local businesses that can help keep South Frontenac moving. With all the beauty that is around us here in the Township, it would serve as an injustice not to take advantage of the nature around us."

•    Yoga and Pilates fusion class with Nomad Yogini  
•    Supervised swimming and beach front games with our Day Camp staff 
•    Kayak Paddling Instruction and Guided Paddles with Cory Vale 
•    Guided Trail Run with the Frontenac Run Club 
•    Organized Dog Walk with Pawsitive Impact 
•    Guided Bird Walk with Gaye Beckwith 
•    Live Music featuring Pete Moss  
•    Little Rays Reptiles Show  
•    Kids’ Nature Craft Station  
•    Inflatables & Face Painting  
•    Girl Guides Scavenger Hunt
