Hosted by Sydenham & District Lions Club. Town Hall 4432 George St. (enter at Wheatly St.) in Sydenham. Hot cocoa provided.

November 29, 11:00 am

The big man has cleared his schedule and will be flying into Sydenham for a parade in his honour on Saturday. November 29 starting at 11 am. This year’s parade will follow a new route.

Santa visits (he will have candy), warm drinks and face painting will also be taking place at the firehall afterwards. 

December 1-31

Get the family together and tour the Township to find the best decorated houses in the community.

December 5, 5:30 pm - 7 pm

Join the Grace Centre (4295 Stagecoach Rd. Sydenham) for a peaceful evening of reflection as we gather to honour our loved ones and the grief we carry. Come to Storrington Lions Hall and have breakfast with Santa on December 6th from 8am-11am.  Meet Santa, face painting, crafts. Enjoy a full meal of Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon.  Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milk and juice.  All for FREE!!!

We will have a drop off for food bank items if you wish to bring with you.

December 6, 1 pm

The parade leaves from Storrington Public School and makes its way to Battersea United Church. Bring your non-perishable food item to ‘fill the boat’. All food items will be donated to the Battersea United Church.

Frontenac Park. 6700 Salmon Lake Rd. Friends of Frontenac challenge outdoor enthusiasts to camp one night every month of the year.

Winter Season

Visitors to the park can enjoy the entire network of hiking trails year round. Throughout the winter, the park track-sets Big Salmon Lake Rd and select hiking trails for cross-country skiing. The park also packs one side of Big Salmon Lake Rd for hiking and snowshoeing. Snowshoes are available for rent at the Park Office.

Hockey Season

January 24, 11 am - 4 pm

Join us for the fourth-ever Snow Social! This event is a celebration of the winter season and will feature activities at The Point Park and throughout the village of Sydenham, just 20 minutes north of Kingston. Admission is free however donations will be gratefully accepted. This is an all-weather event. Visitors should dress like a well-prepared Canadian and plan to take part in all sorts of winter fun including snow tubing (conditions permitting) and firepits. We will have a vendor’s market, lots of live music, kids activities, and SNOW much more!

February 14-16

You can wet a line through the ice for free all Family Day weekend. Come to one of our back lakes for the ultimate ice fishing experience.

February 16, 11 am - 3 pm

Memories are made at our annual Family Day event. We welcome families to the FCA for an afternoon of indoor and outdoor fun. 

Admission and all activities are free. The canteen will be open, and they accept cash and debit. 

Frontenac Community Arena: Rent snowshoes and kick sleds. Kick the winter blues and get out & enjoy the snow!

March is maple syrup season in South Frontenac! Watch for local events where you can see the annual tapping of the trees &
purchase fresh syrup.
