Community Grant Projects

The Township offers grants to community groups that enrich the quality of life in South Frontenac. Not for profit community organizations who meet the project guidelines can apply during certain grant windows each year for funds. Fifteen projects were funded in 2025 for a total of $44,109.09:

  • Battersea United Church - $ 1,500.00 to repair cracks & painting of sanctuary walls
  • Sponsorship Frontenac County Plowmen's Association  - $ 2,000.00 for the Frontenac County Plowing Match
  • Sponsorship Frontenac Holistic Health Collective Frontenac - $ 2,300.00 for the County Holistic Health Fair
  • Capital Golden Links Hall / Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs - $ 2,300.00 to replace tables & chairs in main hall
  • Capital Inverary United Church - $ 2,509.00 to replace dishwasher
  • Capital Inverary Youth Activities Inc. - $ 5,000.00 for 'The Welcome Walkway' - Phase I (Accessible Walkway)
  • Sponsorship Loughborough Firefighters Association - $ 2,000.00 for Santa Claus Parade
  • Capital New Leaf Link - $ 519.23 for Computer (Laptop) & Workstation (Desk)
  • Capital Princess Elizabeth Rebekah Lodge #358 - $ 5,000.00 for mobility assistive equipment
  • Capital St. John's Anglican Church, Sunbury - $ 5,000.00 for painting trim, repointing limestone, bathroom repairs
  • Capital St. Paul's Anglican Church - $ 5,000.00 for Church Internal Accessibility (Stair Chair Lift)
  • Sponsorship Storrington Lions Club - $ 2,500.00 for Breakfast with Santa
  • Capital Sydenham High School, Eagles Nest Program Nurture Program - $ 2,467.09 for a freeze dryer
  • Capital Sydenham Lake Canoe Club - $ 1,091.48 for Stay Afloat (PFDs)
  • Capital Verona Free Methodist Church - $ 2,223.08 for Church Fellowship Hall Serving Island
