There is always so much to do throughout the community on July 1st. Explore the festivities, connect with neighbours, and make lasting memories. Whether you’re dancing to the rhythm of the band or perfecting your cookie decorating skills, our Canada Day celebration is an experience you won’t want to miss!

2026 Canada Day

Enjoy a free community pancake breakfast while listening to the sounds and songs of Chris Murphy.

The Sydenham Canada Day Parade will start at 10:30 am, leaving from the Sydenham Firehall and making its way through the village towards The Point Park where the festivities will take place.

Residents should expect traffic delays and are reminded to drive with caution and obey traffic control measures. 

Food, vendors, music, and games! You won't want to miss the Sydenham Canada Day festivities.

The Harrowsmith S&A Club is excited to welcome you to Centennial Park for their annual Canada Day celebrations! It will be a day filled with great food, music, and activities for all.

  • SFFR Slip n' Slide

The Point Park will be our host site for the fireworks this year. Pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the show!

Get to the show in style! 

Take a FREE shuttle bus to and from the park.

8:30pm pick-up: Fermoy Hall, Wilmer Ball Park, Battersea Ball Park

8:45pm pick-up: Glendower Hall, Verona Free Methodist Church, Verona K&P Trailhead, Centennial Park, Harris Park Hall, Ken Garrett Memorial Park, Gerald Ball Memorial Park.

The buses will depart the park around 10 minutes after the show and make their way back to the pick-up locations.
