Fish Creek Bridge is located on Bob’s Lake Road just south of the intersection of Fish Creek Road. Single lane bridge will be replaced with an open bottom precast concrete two lane structure along with new traffic barriers and road surface improvements.
- Start date: July 2025
- End date: September 2025
- Duration: 10-12 weeks
There will be a two-way road closure that will be separately advertised. Road detour signs and traffic construction signs will be installed in advance of the project. This project has been funded in part by the Canada Community-Building Fund. See the engagefrontenac.ca project page for more details and updates.
Update: September 23, 2025
Due to unforeseen site conditions, completion of the Fish Creek Bridge Project will be delayed.
Crews have been progressing well with work on excavation and shoring. However, during construction, it was discovered that bedrock was deeper than what the original geotechnical investigations projected. This change means that the cofferdam installation is more complex, with increased structural design efforts to weld and brace supports for the outer walls. Accordingly, the construction plan must be adjusted to reflect these changes.
Revised schedules project that construction will be completed by November 21.
