The deadline to update your voter information online has now passed. Any changes to the voters list must now be made in person at the Township Office (4432 George St. Sydenham).
Due to forecasted weather and current road conditions, all roads within South Frontenac are subject to restricted loads effective March 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
Starting in 2026, South Frontenac’s Day Camp program will implement a four-week maximum attendance limit per camper per summer.
South Frontenac Township is pleased to share that Family Day 2026 will be celebrated at the Frontenac Community Arena (4299 Arena Boundary Rd, Godfrey, ON) on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Fish Creek Bridge construction is near complete, and the road is scheduled to be re-opened with a temporary gravel surface at the end of the day at dusk on Friday, January 30. The causeway and the bridge deck will be paved in late spring when asphalt plants re-open.
ALTO, a high-speed rail network, has published a map which provides for proposed corridors for the rail network, one of which would travel through South Frontenac. Please read for more information.
On January 22, 2026, members of Council and Township staff met to present the proposed 2026 Budget. Following the conclusion of the meeting, the 2026 Budget has been deemed adopted.

Construction of the Fish Creek Bridge continues to progress toward completion and crews have been working on average six days per week since late October. The last several weeks, however, have been unforgiving with progress due to the freezing rain and heavy snowfalls. View the the forecasted work schedule.
Effective January 10, 2026, the Loughborough Waste site will begin operations as a full Waste Transfer Facility.
A minimum charge of $20 has been introduced to harmonize fees with the minimum charges in place at other South Frontenac waste disposal sites.
Town Hall will be closed to the public starting on Wednesday, December 24, and will reopen Friday, January 2, 2026 at 8:30 am. The office at Keeley Rd./Public Works will be open December 29, 30 and 31 for calls or walk ins.
