COVID-19 Implications

The Township of South Frontenac has made the difficult decision to cancel Swim and Day Camp programs for the 2020 season due to concerns surrounding COVID-19.

The cancellation comes after careful consideration from the Township’s Emergency Control Group (ECG) regarding the safety of South Frontenac residents and staff. Following the lead of the provincial government’s recent announcement to cancel the remainder of the school year, the ECG determined the risks of offering the summer programs are too high.

We miss our Swimmers and Campers! To stay in touch and help spread the word about water safety, we’ve teamed up with Camp Councillors Riley and Ann.

They will check in every week on the Township's Facebook page with a new 2 – 3 minute video and give us ideas to improve swim skills along with boredom busting activities to try this summer!

Don’t forget to share with the kids and tune in every week for new skills and games to try!

For more information, please connect with Amanda, Program, Events & Education Coordinator at 613-376-3027 ext. 4447.
