Sydenham Point Park Beach Still Closed for Swimming

Sydenham Point Park Beach is still closed for swimming due to unacceptable levels of E.coli in the water. The water is being tested regularly by KFL&A Public Health and signs are posted at the beach. Residents are advised to not swim or enter the water until KFL&A Public Health confirms the beach is safe for swimming again.

Public Invited to Opening of New McMullen Courts on August 30

What’s all the racket about? South Frontenac is close to finishing the latest upgrades to two of its court facilities at McMullen Park and Glendower Hall and Park.

The total rebuild of the McMullen Courts at 6089 Carleton Drive in Verona is targeted to be complete the week of August 28 and includes two tournament-sized doubles tennis courts, a small basketball court and shuffleboard space.

Work will start Monday, August 21, 2023 to construct new sidewalks in the village of Battersea to make the area more safe for pedestrians, improve access to village amenities, and beautify the area.
