On occasion, the Township of South Frontenac sells surplus vehicles and equipment on GovDeals.ca. The Township currently has several trucks, a trailer and a snowplow blade listed for auction with a closing date of August 9, 2023 on the site at this link.

The next time you are at The Point Park in Sydenham, you may see herding dogs at work. As part of our ongoing efforts to manage geese and waterfowl populations to keep our beaches and parks clean and safe, we’ve engaged professionally trained geese herding dogs to encourage the geese to find a new home.

Sydenham Beach Unsafe for Swimming Again

July 20, 2023 – We’ve been advised The Point Beach, 4410 Point Road in Sydenham is unsafe for swimming again by KFL&A Public Health due to unacceptable levels of E.coli in the water.

We are advising residents not to enter the water until KFL&A Public Health can confirm that the beach is safe for swimming again.
