I wish to thank the Harrowsmith S & A Club and all the volunteers who organized the amazing drive through Christmas “Parade of Lights” at Centennial Park on Saturday, December 12. Despite the weather not being ideal, the turnout was overwhelming and I’ve heard numerous compliments of how much it was enjoyed. Thank you to all the local businesses and churches whose time and creativity made this such an enjoyable event. The parade provided a much needed bright spot in a difficult year.
A special thank you to Tim Kellar, Amanda Pantrey and Angela Maddocks for decorating the Township truck and making it look so festive. Thanks to Councillor Revill for his help in set up and to Deputy Mayor Leonard for participating in the entire event.
It was my honour to participate in this event. What a great community we live in!
