Today, we mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and lower our flags to half-mast to honour the contributions of this truly great leader.
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of speaking at an event to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. I remarked what an incredible woman and leader she was. For 70 years, she provided a sense of calm, stability and strength through the most challenging of circumstances, including war, social strife, political upheaval and personal tragedy.
Her dedication to public service will serve as a model for future generations of leaders to come.
May she rest in peace.
