township road

South Frontenac Township is asking residents to take a short survey to provide input into budget priorities for the Township for 2023. Residents can take the survey on the budget consultation project page on EngageFrontenac.ca. The survey will be open until December 31, 2022.

In line with its strategic priorities, the Township aims to improve the quality of life for our residents and build vibrant communities, while also ensuring it has the financial and organizational capacity to deliver those services into the future and in an often-changing environment.

With the recent municipal elections, one of the first priorities for the new Council will be to review and set the budget for 2023.

“Last year the feedback from the public through this survey was helpful in highlighting what was most important to our residents and where best to invest our dollars,” says Mayor Ron Vandewal, who was elected for a third term. “We encourage residents to share their ideas for us to explore as we start the budget process and setting priorities for the Township.”

Residents can learn more and sign up to receive updates on this year’s budget process on the EngageFrontenac.ca project page.
