As extreme weather conditions continue to affect open air burning in our region, the Township of South Frontenac and South Frontenac Fire and Rescue (SFFR) are exploring the idea of updating the current Open Air Burning By-law No. 2012-68 and implementing a burn permit system to help reduce the risk of hazardous open air burning.
