Mark your calendars— Touch the Truck is back in South Frontenac on May 3!

Grab your bags and picker sticks, Pitch-In Week will be April 21-27, 2023 in South Frontenac.

This is the eleventh year South Frontenac Township has participated in Pitch-In Week, a nation-wide community clean-up initiative. After an extremely windy winter and spring, there is more than the normal share of litter on roadsides. The Township is asking area residents to get involved to help clean up greenspaces and roadsides and keep South Frontenac litter free.

Level One Fire Ban in Effect in South Frontenac April 12, 2023

Please be advised that effective Wednesday, April 12, 2023 a Level 1 Fire Ban is in effect in the Township of South Frontenac.

A Level One fire ban restricts open air burning for the purposes of burning grass, brush, or other combustible materials, but permits campfires and cooking fires as defined in the By-law 2012-68.

South Frontenac Fire and Rescue has responded to several fires in the past week due to dry burning conditions. Higher temperatures are forecasted this week and into the weekend...
