South Frontenac Invites Applications for 2023 Lake Ecosystem Grants

South Frontenac Township is inviting lake associations and other not-for-profit community groups looking to make positive changes in the health of lakes to apply for a Lake Ecosystem Grant. The deadline for applications is Friday, August 4, 2023.

The Lake Ecosystem Grant Program is designed to support projects focused on encouraging the preservation, restoration, monitoring and analysis of lake ecosystems within South Frontenac.

Touch the Truck a Soggy Success

Rainy, cool weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of the more than 730 people who came out to get up and close with big trucks and equipment at our Touch the Truck event Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

The popular free, family event raised $1,649.31 in cash donations towards Southern Frontenac Community Services Grace Centre expansion campaign with 230 pounds of food collected to “stuff the truck” for the Grace Centre Food Bank.
